The City of Carbondale Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an unlawful use of credit card investigation at several businesses in the 1200 block of East Main Street. On 10-04-2018 the suspect, pictured below, unlawfully used the credit card of the victim for merchandise. A late 2000’s model Volkwagon Passat with possible Missouri registration is associated with the suspect. The Volkswagon is black in color, has light brown interior, tinted windows, a sunroof and no front license plate. Anyone who can identify the suspect or anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
