[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery Investigation

On 10-10-2018 at about 3:15 a.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to ZX Gas Station, located at 912 West Main Street in Carbondale.  Officers learned an unknown suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money.   The suspect fled in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of currency.  The suspect is described as an unknown male, about 5’08” tall, weighing about 160 pounds and dressed in all black clothing.  No injuries were reported due to the incident.  The investigation is currently active.  Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS (2677).
