[ARCHIVED] Mayor Henry to Kick Off SIU Homecoming with Proclamation Ceremony

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


CARBONDALE – Carbondale Mayor John "Mike" Henry will kick off homecoming festivities at Southern Illinois University on Monday, October 15 with a special proclamation reading.


The proclamation will be issued at 11:50 a.m. near the north entrance of the Student Center. SIU Acting Athletic Director Jerry Kill, Saluki Football Coach Nick Hill and Student Programming Council Homecoming Director Leroy Jones will also be in attendance.
