Burglary, Burglary to Motor Vehicle and Trespassing Investigation

CARBONDALE – On 9/22/23 at 3:10 a.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a business in the 400 block of North Illinois Avenue.  Officers also discovered a vehicle was burglarized at the business. Officers located Ryan O. Lively, 43 years old of DuQuoin, Illinois in the area and arrested him for Burglary, Auto Burglary, and Trespassing. Lively was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
