Carbondale - On 04-30-23 at 12:42 a.m., a Carbondale Police officer stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of New Era Road in which the driver was known to have a suspended driver’s license. The driver, Keishawn T. Wright, 26 of Carbondale, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. During the course of the investigation, a loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle. Wright was also charged with Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail. The investigation is active and ongoing.
