Missing Adult - Located 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Carbondale – On 04-18-23, the City of Carbondale Police Department learned Cheers was located in a nearby community, and is safe and in good health.  We appreciate the community’s assistance in this case.

 Prior Release-The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult, Marvin D. Cheers, 55 of Carbondale.  Cheers was reported to have been last seen in the 200 block of South Wall Street on around 03-06-2023.  Cheers is described as 5’08” tall, weighing 250 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  Cheers’ clothing description and direction of travel are unknown.  Cheers suffers from a condition that places him in danger. The investigation is currently active and ongoing.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cheers should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200.
