[ARCHIVED] Stalking, Cyber Stalking and Harassment through Electronic Communications Investigation

NEWS RELEASE
 City of Carbondale, Illinois
 March 7, 2023

Carbondale - On 02-05-23, a victim reported to a Carbondale police officer that they were the victim of stalking, cyberstalking, and harassment through electronic communication.  Following an extensive investigation, officers located and arrested the suspect, Tyler J.  Labelle, 27 of Marion on 03-06-23.  Detectives charged Labelle with Stalking, Cyberstalking, and Harassment through Electronic Communications. He was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.  The investigation is active and ongoing.
