[ARCHIVED] Carbondale's Annual Neighborhood Alliance Meeting Planned for Sat, Feb 4

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE – Join the Neighborhood Action Group for Carbondale's annual Neighborhood Alliance Meeting on Saturday, February 4, at 10 a.m. at the Carbondale Public Library. The event will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing residents to participate in person or via Zoom.  

During the meeting, neighborhoods and community organizations will update residents on how they are adapting to challenges and outline upcoming events. City leaders will also attend to provide information on community development and sustainability initiatives. Candidates for City Council and Mayor will attend to hear residents' ideas and concerns. 

Oral and written comments will be collected before, during, and after the meeting. Comments should be emailed to [email protected]. Residents may also submit comments via the registration form in person and online. Information collected will be shared via news release and given to candidates and those conducting forums.

This meeting is open to all Carbondale residents. To participate via Zoom, register at register.carbondalepubliclibrary.org/NAM.

The Neighborhood Alliance Meeting is a project of the Neighborhood Action Group, a public group which meets monthly to explore ways to improve our neighborhoods and community.
