CARBONDALE –

The Drug Enforcement Administration announces its 23rd Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for October 29th The public can drop off potentially dangerous prescription medications at the lobby of the Carbondale Police Department (501 South Washington Street, Carbondale) Saturday, October 29th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Accepted – Tablets, Capsules, Patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs.
Not Accepted – Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps and illegal drugs.
DEA will continue to accept vaping devices and cartridges at its drop off locations provided lithium batteries are removed.
