Missing/Runaway Juveniles

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing/runaway juveniles, Ashanti T. Tucker, age 14 of Carbondale and Basheer T. Tucker, age 13 of Carbondale.  Officers learned Ashanti and Basheer were last seen on 06-24-2022 at 1:19 a.m. in the 1900 block of Old West Main Street.   Ashanti, pictured below, is described as 5’05” tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Basheer, pictured below, is described as 5’09” tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  Ashanti and Basheer have been known to be in the areas of the 1400 block of North Illinois Avenue and the 200 block of Canterbury Drive in Carbondale.  The investigation is currently active and ongoing.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ashanti and Basheer should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200.
