[ARCHIVED] Missing Person Located

On 06-12-22, the City of Carbondale Police Department learned that missing person Joshua Hartman was located in Massac County by the Massac County Sheriff’s Department and found to be in good health. We appreciate the community’s assistance in this case.    

Prior Release on 06-10-2022:

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult, Joshua L. Hartman, age 44 of Chillicothe, Ohio.  On 06-09-22 at approximately 7:48 a.m., Hartman’s family called the Police Department asking for officers to conduct a welfare check on Hartman where he had been staying in the 1400 block of East Main Street in Carbondale.  Officers did not make contact with him.  Hartman, pictured below, is described as being about 5’09” tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with Hazel eyes and Brown hair.  Hartman was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with the logo “Jason Carr Electric” printed on it, Blue Jeans, Scuffed up Tan Work Boots and a Blue baseball cap with the name “Westside Sluggers” embroidered on the back.   Hartman was driving a White 2020 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Truck with Ohio license plates PCM3207.  Hartman may be in the area of Crab Orchard, IL.  The investigation is currently active and ongoing.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hartman should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200.
