[ARCHIVED] Missing/Runaway Juvenile Recovered

The City of Carbondale Police Department learned that missing juvenile Kyshon L. Frye, 16 of Carbondale, was located by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on 12-05-21.  Kyshon was found to be safe and in good health. We appreciate the community’s assistance in this case.

 

Previous release:

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person reported on 11-30-21, Kyshon L. Frye, age 16, of Carbondale.  Kyshon, pictured below, was last seen on 11-27-2021 at about 9:00 p.m. in the 400 block of South Washington Street in Carbondale.   Kyshon is described as 5’08” tall, weighing 130 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket and dark blue jean pants.  Kyshon is believed to frequent the 500 block of South Rawlings Street in Carbondale.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Johnson should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation is ongoing and active.
