On 11-26-21, Carbondale Police Department was made aware of a criminal damage to property complaint in the 200 block of South Friedline Drive. Officers learned an unknown suspect fired a gun in the area of the 200 block of South Friedline Drive and a parked car was struck by a bullet. The owner of the car stated she heard a loud noise at approximately 7:00 p.m. and discovered the damage the following day. There were no injuries reported in relation to this call.
