On 11-20-21 at approximately 1:26 a.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to the area of East Oak Street and North Marion Street in reference to a report of shots fired. There were no reports of injuries. The investigation revealed there was a vehicle damaged as a result of the gunfire. There is not any suspect information to provide. The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
