[ARCHIVED] Update: Missing Person Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department was advised of a missing adult, Lamont Chick, 45 of Carbondale, on October 18th, 2021.  The family of Lamont Chick has since notified the police department that they have made contact with Lamont Chick and he is no longer missing.  The department would like to thank the community for their assistance in this investigation.

Missing Person Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person reported on 10-1-21, Lamont Chick, age 45, of Carbondale.  Lamont, pictured below, was last seen on 10-13-2021 at about 6:00 p.m. in the 300 block of South Marion Street in Carbondale.  Lamont is described as 5’11” tall, weighing 200 pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lamont should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation is ongoing and active.
