On 05-21-21 at 10:34 a.m., City of Carbondale Police Department officers responded to the 1300 block of East Main Street regarding reports of a stabbing. Officers located a white male adult, later identified as Chad Berry, 36 years of age, of Carbondale, with a non-life threatening injury. Officers learned that Berry had gotten into a mutual fight with a black male adult, Monte Graham, 59 years of age, of Carbondale. During the fight Graham stabbed Berry one time. Graham and Berry were each arrested for Aggravated Battery and incarcerated.
