On May 12th, 2021 at about 10:41 a.m., Robert T. Vandelogt was located in a wooded area near the Chautauqua Bottoms walking path during a search of the area that was coordinated by the Carbondale Police Department, and assisted by the Carbondale Fire Department, S.I.U. Department of Public Safety and numerous civilian volunteers. This investigation is still ongoing and active. The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult, Robert T. Vandelogt. Robert is a white male, 42 years old, 5’10, 160 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Robert is believed to be alone and still in the Carbondale area. Information provided indicates Robert is possibly endangered. This investigation is still ongoing and active.
