On 03/27/21 at approximately 5:42 a.m., City of Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 300 block of East Walnut Street regarding a complaint of shots fired. No injuries were reported and no property damage occurred. During the course of the investigation, officers located and arrested several persons involved. Riley L. Little, 40 years old of Murphysboro (photo unavailable) was arrested and charged with Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful use of a Weapon. Little was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail. Amy L. Jordan, 36 years old of Murphysboro, was charged with Obstructing Justice. Jordan was released pending court appearances. Additionally, charges are pending against two juveniles who were arrested in the course of the investigation. Both were charged with Obstructing Justice and one was additionally charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
