[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm Investigation

On 03-23-21, at approximately 5:26 p.m., Carbondale police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of East Main Street.  Officers learned there were no reported injuries, however, bullets struck two vehicles in the area.  The suspect is described as a black male wearing a light blue shirt with a handgun.  The suspect fled the area in a dark color Nissan with three other black male occupants.  The investigation is ongoing and actively being investigated.  Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS.
