CARBONDALE – Today, Governor JB Pritzker announced that the City of Carbondale would be awarded $120,000 in grant funds to make improvements at the Cedar Lake Boat Launch.
The funding was awarded to the City through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Boat Access Area Development Program. Carbondale was one of five communities in Illinois to receive the grant for boat access projects.
