[ARCHIVED] Carbondale City Hall Reopens to the Public

OPEN-Face Masks Required

CARBONDALE – On Monday, January 25, City Hall will safely reopen to the public. While inside the building, face masks will be required at all times.

In our efforts to continue minimizing the spread of COVID-19, plexiglass shields have been installed in areas where employees interact with the public, and social distance markers have been placed on the floors.

For residents needing to make a payment, the City still encourages using alternative payment methods such as online, by mail, dropbox, or bank locations. To make a payment online, click here.

Payment arrangements can be made for past due balances in person or by contacting our water office at 618-457-3265 between January 25 and January 29. Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, the office will be open, and employees will be ready to assist you.

To reach our offices, call 618-549-5302.  For more information regarding the reopening, contact Public Relations Officer Roni LeForge at 618-559-1939.

“Carbondale prides itself on providing its visitors, students, businesses and residents with a unique mix of edge and ease. It’s a cultural town, yet free of pretense, embracing the great outdoors as readily as urban sophistication. Here, we are open to new ideas, experiences and cultures, so you are encouraged to both express yourself and be yourself, in all ways. That’s Carbondale…All Ways Open… for family, fun, business, new ideas and a bright tomorrow.”
