[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Battery with a Firearm

On 06-05-20 at approximately 11:32 p.m., City of Carbondale Police officers responded to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in reference to a gunshot victim. Officers learned a 17 year old male victim was shot and the incident occurred in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. The victim and the suspect are known acquaintances and the incident stemmed from a dispute between the two. The victim’s wounds are not life threatening. This investigation is currently active and being investigated by the Carbondale Police Department.
