[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Battery with a Firearm Investigation

On 05-12-20 at approximately 2:26 a.m., Carbondale Police Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Dorthella Street and Lynda Drive.  Officers learned a gunshot victim arrived at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale and another gunshot victim arrived at St. Joseph’s Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.  One of the victims was treated and released and the other victim is still being treated for non-life threatening injuries.  There is no suspect information to provide at this time.  This investigation is currently active and being investigated by the Carbondale Police Department.
