[ARCHIVED] Unlawful Use of Weapons Felon in Possession of a Firearm

On 03-03-2020 at approximately 1:25 p.m., Carbondale Police Officers observed Brian Hooks, 39 years old, of Carbondale driving at North Robert Stalls Avenue and East Willow Street. The officers stopped Hooks and arrested him for driving with a revoked driver’s license. Officers found Hooks in possession of a stolen firearm. Hooks was charged with Unlawful Use of Weapons (Felon in Possession of a Firearm), Possession of a Stolen Firearm, being an Armed Habitual Criminal and Driving with a Revoked Driver’s License. Hooks was incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail.
