On 03-02-2020 at approximately 9:42 p.m., Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 300 block of East Mill Street in reference to a subject entering unoccupied vehicles. When Officers arrived, they located the suspect, who fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit the suspect complied with officers and was taken into custody. He was identified as Myron Jackson, 30 years old of Carbondale. It was determined Jackson was wanted on Jackson County arrest warrants for Burglary and Theft, as well as an Illinois Department of Corrections parole violation warrant for Robbery. Jackson was charged with Trespass to a Vehicle and incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail.
