[ARCHIVED] Strong Armed Robbery

On February 28, 2020, at 1:13 a.m., Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 300 block of S. Marion Street in reference to a strong armed robbery. The investigation revealed three male suspects approached the victim and one of them took the victim’s wallet. The same suspect then punched the victim as he attempted to retrieve his wallet. All three suspects fled the area on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries, which did not require medical treatment.

The suspects are described as a black male, 5’11” tall, thin build, with a long dreadlock hairstyle, who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and sandals. The second suspect is a black female, 5’4” tall, thin build, who was wearing a white jacket with a green hood. The third suspect is black female, 5’6” tall, heavy build, with a long dreadlock hairstyle, who was wearing a white puffy jacket and grey pants. The investigation is currently active and ongoing.
