[ARCHIVED] UPDATE - Notice of Water Main Construction

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE - Construction of a new water main along Sycamore Street, from Rural King rear entrance to Oakland Avenue has begun. On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, Sycamore Street will be closed for water main construction from McKinley Street to Glenview Drive.

Due to this construction motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and use caution while traveling in and through this area. Access to private drives will be maintained throughout the construction process; however there will be short periods of time where access may be delayed or prohibited.
