[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglary Arrest

On 11-06-19 at approximately 9:00 p.m., the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to a residence on South Maple Street in reference to a burglary in progress.  Officers arrived at the residence and found the resident detaining the suspect inside the home.  Officers arrested William Farnam, 20 years old of Centralia.  The resident heard the suspect inside the residence, detained him and called the Police Department.  Farnam is charged with Residential Burglary and incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
