[ARCHIVED] Missing Runaway Juveniles

On 11/13/18 at 0719 hours, City of Carbondale police officers responded to Gateway , 1080 East Park Street in Carbondale, in reference to a report of two runaway juvenile females.  Officers learned the juveniles were last seen on 11-13-2018 at about 7:10 a.m.  Officers immediately searched the area but were unable to locate the juveniles.   The runaway juveniles are identified as 15 year old Melissa Camargo of Rockford, IL. and 16 year old Anna M Racine of Earlville, IL.  

Camargo is described as a Hispanic female, 5’02” tall, weighing about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes last seen wearing a green jacket.  

Racine is described as a white female, 5’04” tall weighing 120 pounds, with wavy brown hair and green eyes last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.  

The females left in an unknown direction but could be attempting to make their way back to their residences in northern Illinois.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Camargo or Racine should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200.  The investigation into this incident is continuing.
