Shred and Med Day

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE – The Jackson County Health Department is hosting a Shred and Med Disposal Day on Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m.-noon. 

They will be accepting the following: 

Documents: 

  • Confidential documents (old tax returns, receipts, insurance papers, etc.) fro on-site shredding
  • Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please remove any binder clips

Medications:

  • Prescriptions and over-the-counter medications (pills, creams and patches)
  • Liquids, needles and inhalers will not be accepted

This free event is open to all area residents. If you have questions, visit recyclejacksoncounty.org or call (618) 684-3143, ext. 128.
