About

The Personnel Board is responsible for:

• Compiling a written statement of facts, findings, and recommendations to the City Manager for each appeal
• Making recommendations for revised employee rules and regulations
• Receiving appeals submitted by City employees

Composition

• One member is elected by the other 6 members
• Three members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Council
• Three members elected by the City of Carbondale employees

Additional Information

Citizen members must be qualified electors of the City and may not be employed by the City of Carbondale.
